So to start at the beginning, About 3 months ago I started having all the pregnant symtoms (i had unprotected sex off my birth control) So I thought maybe my periods coming..It didnt..so i stopped taking my birth control...I took about 5 tests in a matter of a month..all negative..A month later still no period..Symptoms are present and I started to gain weight (gained 10 pounds)..Then the next month..I took some tests early in that month still negative..I then went to the doctors about 2 or 3 weeks ago and she ordered an ultrasound and alot of blood tests..Blood test for pregnancy..negative..The ultrasound showed 2 ovarian cysts..I saw a black space with a little white inside like the size of a peanut...Anyway she ordered that i go back on birth control so I did and a week ago I was at work and had ALOT of pressure down there then i started getting HORRIBLE cramps that knocked me to the floor i couldnt breathe that lasted 20 minutes and then they were mild and i was SO sore down there (no bleeding by the way) then about a week ago i got my 'period' i bled really heavy for 4 days straight (filled up a tampon in a half hour or less) very painful stomach pain and cramps had me in bed mostly then i spotted a day then it completley stopped. I had clots but very small. Could I have been pregnant and miscarried? Could I have had a ectopic pregnancy? I just felt inside that I really was pregnant? Im so confused and have to wait a couple weeks for the doctor I just need my mind at ease. I really want to know if I did or not. all opinions help thanks very much.
Its not likely that you was pregnant if they have done a hcg blood test and it was negative. The blood tests are very sensitive and can pick up very small
amounts of hcg. Ovary cysts are very painfull as they grow they really hurt
and can make you cry they hurt that much. During ultra sound scans often
people think that they see things that are nothing. On one of my scans when
i was pg i swore i seen what looked like another baby and you could
see it on my scan picture but this was nothing.
Its actually a bit of fluid that can look like another gestation sac as this shows up white. Your period was more than likely heavy because you had missed a period and due to you having cysts this would be the reason why.
