My pregnant friend is in the process of having a unique stuffed toy animal patented and trademarked. I thought it would be a good idea to ask some other pregnant women their thoughts and opinions. I know I was happy to hear about a new product for the mom to be (or mom to be again), not just the typical lotions, creams and CD's. This is really a comfort product that promotes a positive delivery and used to help with stress. It is seems like a nice gift item to me.

Thanks for letting me know your opinion!!!

you know i dind't have anything comforting me during my labors and it's fine. i had my spouse and that was all i needed. some women are differnet but to me a stuffed toy wouldn't do that for me at all. but it's a good idea as a lot of mothers are different and like to have something soft. i wish her luck

i'm not patenting anything, but plan on doing homebirth, so i just want tv...so as soon as the last of gilmore girls and or nip tuck come out on dvd(the seasons), i am getting those, and i'm burning cd's...i'll have my 13 y/o sister with me(right now she doesnt think she needs college, so we hope to get her into this, maybe inspire her to go healthcare lol).....so idk if there's anything i'd really want for an exact comfort(not only that, my mom still has my baby blanket, all 4 of us use it, so i'll have my "bink" lol, and my baby will be in it after cleaning!)

I didnt really find anything comforting during delivery. Actually, I was just focused on breathing and meditation of sorts. There were several people around me, but I finally had to tune most of them out so I could hear the doctor's instructions. My hubby even irritated me so much I told him to act like a child from the old days when they were told to be seen but not heard!

I think that's a great idea. I'm not currently pregnant but I know having something to cling to is comforting.

Having a baby can be a little scary and I deal with women having c-sections so something that would comfort them is always a plus.

Besides my mother, mother-in-law, my sister and my husband; I really wasn't needing anything as far as comfort. Before and after, I loved having my laptop and ipod with me as well as some movies to watch on the laptop.

Hey Sarah, your post just got me curious. How does this stuffed toy look like? Any pictures?
